My Everyday MakeUp

This is my typical everyday look, some days I might change the odd item here or there, either to spice things up, tone it down, or just for the fun of it. At the time of writing, I used MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation  (MAC SSF) in NC45, however, I now use MAC Studio Fix Fluid, which I like so much better.  MAC SSF, is quite good, but it's nothing spesh though. I find the coverage is quite high, I'd say medium-full. It is buildable, but you do wanna be careful, as it has a white cast to it (as. I rather unfortunately found out). It might have made it to my go-to foundation list, but thene it broke me out like a mofo, so it is what it is. If you'd like to see my full review on it, click here.
I use MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC45 to conceal the hyper-pigmentation around my eyes and highlight my eyebrows. I've used Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer in Golden Brown, and couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. I much prefer my MAC one.
I like my eyebrows to be really dark and striking, not crazy-clown striking, but noticeable, if you know what I mean. I'm not really into the whole subtle eyebrows look. I've been doing the "Scouse Brow" for ages, I just never thought to call it that. I must say I do feel like x stole my limelight. I think it needs to be renamed the 'LLD Brow' ;) I use The Body Shop's (TBS) Eye Definer pencil on my eyebrows. It's actually an eyeliner, but one of the Sales Assistants put it in my eyebrows accidentally, when I was getting a makeover. I've since found out its intended use but actually prefer this to eyebrow pencil, as it has more staying power, and is the right shade for me. The eyebrow pencils in TBS are not the right shade for me, they're all far tooo light, so I just stick to this.
The eyeliner pencil I use on my waterline is any combination of the MUA pencils, i.e. turquoise blue, dark blue or dark green. I either use one, two or all three of them. I used to be boring and stick to the traditional black, but one day I decided to be a tad more adventurous. Tbh, I think it really paid off. There's nothing wrong with wearing black eyeliner, I still wear it from time to time. However, adding a pop of colour, even if you're look is quite neutral, can really liven or brighten a dull look up.
For liquid eyeliner I swear by Maybelline's Eyeliner Express in Black. The applicator wand is short (not too short) and slim, so this really allows for versatility and precision when doing your winged eyeliner. I've tried L'oreal's Carbon Gloss liner which everyone raves about in the vlogging world, but I just can't stand it. It has nothing on my Maybelline one. Liquid eyeliner is literally a god send. I don't know about you, but if I don't wear my liquid eyeliner, even if I've done everything else, I feel incomplete, like there's something missing. This is most defintely my makeup essential. I know for most people it's mascara, but as y'all know I'm not a fan. I don't even know why I wrote about this last, and not first, but as they say, 'you save the best 'til last'.
I used to think Bourjois make up products were for white/ fair skinned people, until one day my cousin showed me the light. This blush is wicked and very versatile. I've seen people extremely lighter than me use it,and people darker than me use it, and it looks just as great. If I'm not using this, then I'm wearing an MUA one in Shade 4.
On my lips, as a base and a staple lip care product, I swear by Nivea's Essential Lip Care Lip Balm. I used to swear by Vaseline, (which I still use from time to time), but I really don't feel like Vaseline does anything for my lips. My fave Nude Pink (on my skintone) lipstick, which also happens to be my first MAC Lipstick is MAC Taupe. I love, love, luuuurrvvvee this lipstick, it's absolutely gorgeous. A go-to everyday lipstick that I love, which is cheap and cheerful is MUA's Shade No.11 Lipstick. It's totes gorj.
And that's about it really. I don't really wear mascara. I wear it once in a blue moon. Everytime I put it on, I think I look sooooo weird. I have hardly any eyelashes, and everytime I remove my mascara, I always lose a couple of lashes. Now for the average person, that might not be that much, but for someone like myself, who hardly has any, that is just really not on. I don't wear eyeshadows on a daily basis either. I just think it's a bit much. I know you can get neutral colours like MAC's Ricepaper, Sleek's Honeycomb (Au Naturel palette) or Urban Decay's Naked (Naked palette), but I'd just rather not tbh.

What is your No. 1 make up product, that you wouldn't be caught dead without? Lemme know below. As always stay blessed and beautiful dolls xoxo

Beyonce’s the new face of H & M

Following in the steps of Lana Del Ray, Beyonce aka Mrs Carter has been unveiled as the new face and voice of H&M. The ‘Single Ladies’ singer will sing her new song ‘Standing On The Sun’ in commercials.

The summer collection features swimwear and beachwear- including a bikini from the H&M for Water collection; with some of the proceeds going to WaterAid. The collection will be available from May. Hopefully this miserable weather would have picked up by then :(
"I've always liked H&M's focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements - fire, water, earth and wind," said Bey.

Thanks for reading dolls. What do you dolls think of Bey’s latest song: Bow doen b&tches? Are we loving it or is it a case of uh-oh uh-oh uh-oh for Queen Bee? Let me know down below. Until next time, as always stay blessed and beautiful dolls xoxo.

High Street Haul: Part 3: OOTN

In the first part of my High Street Haul series, I showed you all the bargains I picked up from town. In part 2, I showed you how I'd style a casual OOTD.  In the final part of this series, I'm going to show you, how I'd style an OOTN, using my haul pieces.

The dress (as shown on the left), is by Madam Rage, and was purchased at Debenhams.

With slouchy pockets,  loose cap detailing on the sleeves,  and brown flowers adorning the dress, this dress is an absolute stunner.

I think this would make a great OOTN, and could be worn to a wedding or dinner.

Alternatively, it could be dressed down with a blazer, tights, and flat shoes, i.e. brogues, to make a lovely OOTD.

Who says you can't look good on a budget? High-end style and low end prices. What's not to love?

Navy Floral Slouch Dress, £5 at Debenhams
Nude Faux Snakeskin Heels, £3 at Primark

As always, stay blessed and beautiful dolls xoxo

High Street Haul: Part 2: How to style Creepers

You'll see from my previous post, that I've managed to pick up a few bargains over the last few days. Here's an OOTD I created using the jumper from my haul.

Green Pocket Jumper- Primark- £5
(-) material smells funky. Nothing a good wash won't fix though.
(+) It's a size 'Small' (Mens), but is very figure hugging,
so will fit nicely on a female body.
(+) pocket detailing on left breast.

Tan Ankle Leggings- Miss Selfridge- £12

No longer available. Get similar here:

Underground Creepers- Office- £85.75* (I had a voucher)
You can get good quality creeper lookalikes for much cheaper, so I wouldn't advice spending so much on a pair. Having said that when getting printed creeper dupes, especially when they're leopard print, do be careful, as some versions look really cheap and tacky :)

@ Office these are only £66.50 now and Office is doing free delivery.

@ Amazon some creepers are only £40

New Look is doing creepers for £15- £25 so check 'em out too :)

Look out for part 3 in the High Street Haul Series, where I'll be featuring an OOTN, using my fab bargains, from part 1 :)

How would you style creepers? Let me know in the comment section below.
Or if you've done a post,  link it below.
As always stay blessed and beautiful dolls xoxo

Recently, I've been broke as hell, and am actually not supposed to be shopping, because let's be honest, I'm not so great at window shopping. I'll literally be like to myself: "Louise, your budget is £50 MAX". And then I'll see this, and then I'll see that, and suddenly I'm walking out of the shop with £100 worth of goodies.  Epic Fail.
When there's a sale going on though, you just can't help yourself. I swear I can literally hear the items calling my name. And when there's a really good sale, you kinda feel like it'd be rude of you to let such a good opportunity pass you buy. Right, ladies?
