#SaturdayStylin' :How To Recycle Old Clothes #OOTN

Previously, it was Priscilla's 20th birthday, and having been to a few birthdays I found I'd exhausted a few of my usual go-to outfits, so didn't know what to wear, and after surfing the internet, and finding nothing, I decided to have a browse through my Inspiration folder. My inspiration folder is located on the desktop of my laptop and contains pictures of outfits that inspire me or are on my wishlist as mustbuys!
Whilst flicking through my 'Inspiration' folder, I came across this Black Matalan Peplum dress (£30) from the Abbey Clancy collection, which I've had my eye on for a while.

Copyright: Matalan
I was umming and ahhing as to whether or not I should make the purchase, when I remembered that I had a plain black peplum skirt, which I bought (for £12 in a sale) from River Island ages ago and a long sleeve black long sleeved t-shirt from Primark, which I had bought an eternity ago, for about £4.
Pairing my peplum skirt and long sleeved t-shirt, I was able to get the same look for essentially next to nothing. Moral of the story: Before you think of handing away your dosh, see if you've got some old clothes in your closet, than can be recycled and made into new outfits. As my mother always says: "Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves."
