#ThriftyThursday: Primark Perfume Gift Set Review

Last month, I stumbled across some absolute steals in Primark. I had come in there with the intention of buying a khaki green trench, but who actually goes to Primark and leaves with only what they came in for? Not me, I can tell you that for free- ha!
Whilst en-route to the tills, I noticed that Primark was having a perfume sale, and after having a whiff of their fragrances, decided to purchase both Polka and P.S. Love. Here's what I thought:

Polka has beautiful packaging that bares a striking resemblance to Marc Jacob's "Dot", however that is where the similarities end as it smells nothing like Dot. It does however smell like Paco Rabanne’s "Lady Million." This perfume smells divine, and out of all the perfumes I own (my collection currently stands at 17 and counting), I consider it to be one of my top favourites. It lasts about 2-3 hours, and is most potent during its first hour, which for an EDT from Primark is amazeballs. Also when it fades it doesn't have a horrid after-smell, which is an added bonus.

Price: £3 (usually £10)  5/5
Packaging: 4/5
Potency: 3/5
Overall rating: 4/5

Would I repurchase? Yes, I would, but I would love the chance to try out its dupe to see what that's like potency-wise.

P.S. Love
“Surround yourself with love and lace…intimate and sensual floral notes of ylang ylang and fresh jasmine are surrounded by succulent peach accords. The scent of pure femininity.” Lasting power wise, you've got about 3 hours before you need to top up.
This scent is fresh, light and fruity, which makes it a perfect everyday essential.

Price: £3 (usually £8) 5/5
Packaging: 3/5
Potency: 3/5
Overall rating: 3.5/5

Would I repurchase? I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong, I do love this perfume. It smells really good, but I just don't know if I'd be bothered to repurchase it, whereas with Polka, I deffo would.

Do you own any Primark/ high-street perfumes, if so, what did you think of them? Do you own any high-street perfume dupes, if so lemme know in the comments section below?
